EWTN is a wonderful multimedia site (If you have cable or a satellite dish, they have Catholic programming...it is EXCELLENT) Definitely a bookmark site.
Domestic-Church.com is one of my favorite new discoveries. It has essays, teaching resources, "fridge art" for kids, info on saints, stewardship, vocations, and the sacraments. If you have kids, or teach kids CCD, you may want to check out this resource.
Visit the Las Vegas Marian Information Center's Web Site for inspiration, encouragement, information on ALL things Catholic. (Don't let the name fool you...it is NOT just a Las Vegas Marian Site....) This is truly a heart felt site with lots of links to some of the best Catholic mega sites.
Visit Catholic Community Forum to sign up for the daily Epistle which is the daily scriptural readings, Liturgy of the Hours, Saint of the Day, Today in Church History, Quotes from Saints, Prayer Requests, and Fact of the Day. This is really a great service. Everyone I have referred to this has been really happy.
Check out Zenit for Catholic news around the world. They also have an e-newsletter than you can subscribe to.
educational...words are not enough...just go visit.
Going on vacation...on a business trip doesn't mean you have to miss Mass. I think some of our best vacation moments have been experiencing Mass in a new city (whether it's been in France or Los Angeles) Mass Times has Mass times, addresses, (even directions--some with maps)...so now there is NO excuse to miss Mass :)
Catholic Charities is a wonderful organization. There are so many wonderful programs at the local level so check out the Catholic Charities foundation in your area. Also, if you are cleaning out your garage, closets, etc, donate your stuff to Catholic Charities. Make a difference in someone's life :)
Locks of Love is near and dear to my heart. As an adult going through chemo and losing quite a bit of hair (thankfully not completely bald...but patchy in places...I sort of looked like a baby bird :) Anyway, I can only imagine how a child or a teen must feel with hair loss. Locks of Love supplies hair pieces to children and teens (under 18) If you are considering cutting YOUR hair (your hair has to be at least a 10" ponytail), please think about giving it to Locks of Love.
Franciscan Cards is one of my FAVORITE ecard sites. It is just such a FUN place and also has tons of great Catholic cards to send. All around just a "FEEL GOOD place to visit. You can add music, even java to some cards...and it is FREE!!
If you have a Catholic or Christian link that you would like to have a reciprocal link back to Coming Home-A Catholic Web Site
Send An Email with all the Info :)
(.If you do not wish to hear the music..just press the stop button :)
